Royal Enfield has managed to generate quite a bit of buzz on the internet ahead of its next big launch— the Guerilla 450. The Himalayan-based roadster is scheduled to break covers on July 17 in Barcelona, Spain. Ahead of its debut tomorrow, the Chennai-based bikemaker is actively promoting the upcoming 450cc roadster on its social media handles.

In one of the recent teasers, the Guerilla 450 can be seen burning its tyres which in a way highlights the bike’s sporty and street nature. The rear wheel gets shod with dual-purpose rubbers with thick sidewalls. In another teaser, the video shows glimpses of the city Barcelona where the Guerilla 450 is going to be unveiled.

Royal Enfield Guerilla 450: Styling

Recently, the 450cc roadster was spotted in a dealership service station most likely for a quick service training for technicians or a pre-delivery inspection. We already know that Royal Enfield will offer the Guerilla 450 in single-tone as well dual-tone colour options including matte grey, red and black, and yellow and black.

Visual highlights on Guerilla 450 include a chiselled yet muscular fuel tank, a floating tail section, a single-piece seat, split grab rails, an underbelly bash plate, and a stubby exhaust muffler, just like the one seen in Himalayan 450. Signature Royal Enfield elements like a round headlamp, an off-set circular instrument console, and round rear view mirrors have  been carried over to the Guerilla.

Royal Enfield Guerilla 450: Features

The top-of-the-line Guerilla 450 will boast a feature-packed instrument cluster. This fully-digital display integrates Google Maps navigation, Bluetooth connectivity for calls, texts, music, and even lets you switch between ride modes. Lower trims get a simpler semi-digital setup similar to the Meteor 350 and Super Meteor 650. These might offer Tripper Navigation as an optional add-on.

Expect all variants to come with LED headlights and turn signals, multiple ride mode options, and a USB charging port for your convenience.

Royal Enfield Guerilla 450: Mechanical specs

Taking a closer look at leaked images, the Guerilla 450 sports a compact profile thanks to its 17-inch alloy wheels front and back. These wheels are wrapped in block-pattern tires, hinting at some off-road capability. The suspension setup appears to be telescopic forks upfront and a preload-adjustable monoshock at the rear, providing a balance of comfort and handling. Disc brakes on both wheels will ensure confident stopping power.

Under the frame, the Guerilla 450 borrows the same 450cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine from its sibling, the Himalayan 450. While the Himalayan produces 39 bhp and 40 Nm of torque, the Guerilla’s engine tuning might be tweaked for a more road-focused character. Both bikes likely share a 6-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch for smoother gear changes.
