Royal Enfield registered sales of 75,935 motorcycles in the month of February 2024 which led to a 6% YoY growth. During the same period previous year, the company sold a total of 71,544 units inclusive of domestic as well as exports. In the domestic market, Enfield sold a total of 67,922 units in February this year.
This led to a 5% YoY growth since the brand sold 64,436 units in February last year. The Chennai-based bikemaker exported 8,013 motorcycles last month as compared to 7,108 units during February last year. This resulted in a 13% YoY increase in sales.
Royal Enfield 350cc models drive sales
The 350cc range of Royal Enfield, consisting of Classic 350, Bullet 350, Hunter 350 and Meteor 350, continue to generate bulk of the volume for the Chennai-based manufacturer. A total of 66,157 units of the 350cc range were dispatched last month, which translated to a 2% YoY increase from 64,810 units sold in February last year.

Rest of the models, notably the 650cc lineup featuring Interceptor, Continental GT, Super Meteor, and Shotgun, along with Himalayan 450 and Scram 411 cumulatively generated a monthly sales volume of 9,778 units in February. During the same period, Enfield sold 6,734 units from this space which has resulted in a significant 45% YoY growth this year.
The year started with the launch of the Shotgun 650 which is priced at Rs 3.59 lakh – Rs 3.73 lakh (ex-showroom). Royal Enfield has plenty of models lined up for launch in the coming months including the Bobber 350, Scram 450, Roadster 450, and Scrambler 650.

Speaking about the performance for the month of February 2024, B Govindarajan, CEO, Royal Enfield said, “Over the last few months, while our new motorcycle launches have done exceedingly well, our existing motorcycles have also contributed to our strong growth momentum across bookings and retails.”
