Royal Enfield has officially launched its latest riding gear collection called Urban Outerwear. Tailored for the modern city commuter, this new collection introduces two standout pieces: the Phoenix Leather Jacket and the Urbanite Hoodie, combining street-style aesthetics with serious protective features.
Designed for everyday riders, the Urban Outerwear line aims to bridge the gap between style and function. The Phoenix Jacket, crafted from 100% genuine leather, is a CE-certified Class “AA” jacket offering maximum protection. With mesh panels for breathability, titanium sliders, and CE Level 2 protection, this jacket is ideal for those who value both safety and street-ready style.
On the other hand, the Urbanite Hoodie is a versatile, lightweight option that doesn’t skimp on safety. Made from 4-way stretch softshell fabric with reinforced abrasion zones, it features CE Level 2 protection at key impact areas. This CE-certified Class “A” hoodie allows riders to transition seamlessly from their motorcycle seat to social settings without sacrificing comfort or safety.

What sets the Urban Outerwear collection apart is its dual-purpose design—equally suited for riding and casual wear. According to Yadvinder Singh Guleria, Chief Commercial Officer at Royal Enfield, the collection was created “to offer functional, approachable style suitable for both riding and everyday wear.”
To complement the gear, Royal Enfield recommends pairing the Phoenix Jacket with accessories like the SPEEDX Helmet, Vamos V2 Gloves, and Nomad Boots—each engineered for protection and urban appeal. The Urbanite Hoodie pairs effortlessly with the Classic Jet MLG Helmet or Stealth Modular Helmet, along with breathable gloves and the impact-resistant GT Sneakers for an all-day comfort ensemble.
Prices for the Phoenix Jacket and Urbanite Hoodie are Rs 19,990 and Rs 8,990 respectively. Both are available at select Royal Enfield showrooms as well as the company’s official website.
