Royal Enfield storms past the 1 million sales mark in the financial year of 2025 registering 10,09,900 units. The iconic two-wheeler manufacturer registered a 34% growth in total sales year-on-year. The company managed to achieve this historic milestone thanks to strong domestic and international demand and a range of new product launches.
Royal Enfield secured the top position in the 2025 J.D. Power India Two-Wheeler Initial Quality Study, reinforcing its reputation for superior reliability. The study highlighted that riders covering over 2,500 km within the first six months of ownership reported only 9 problems per 100 vehicles (PP100). This lower PP100 figure, compared to those who rode fewer kilometres, is an indicator of enhanced vehicle quality.

Royal Enfield: Record-breaking growth
Royal Enfield registered a record-breaking growth the Hunter crossing 500,000 sales, while the Super Meteor 650 surpassed 50,000 units. The brand’s domestic sales grew to 9,02,757 units, while exports saw a remarkable 37% rise to 1,07,143 units. March 2025 was particularly impressive, with a 34% increase in total sales compared to the previous year, reaching 1,01,021 units. In 2024, Royal Enfield has managed 75,551 units, including domestic and export markets.
In the domestic market, Royal Enfield saw a growth of 33% year-on-year as it clocked 88,050 units as compared to 66,044 units in March 2024. In exports, the company registered 12,971 units in 2025 a growth of 36%. In March 2024, the company had exported 9,507 units.
Global Expansion
Royal Enfield is expanding its global presence with the launch of a new CKD assembly plant in Thailand and a manufacturing unit in Bangladesh. The company also plans to establish another CKD facility in Brazil by January 2025, reinforcing its commitment to international markets.
