The Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 has taken competition not only to the Triumph Speed 400 and the Harley-Davidson X440 but to Yezdi’s territory as well, making it a sensible alternate to the Yezdi Scrambler — or does it? Let’s look closer at the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 and the Yezdi Scrambler and see how they compare in terms of specifications, features, and performance.
Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 vs Yezdi Scrambler: Design and features
The Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 is based on the Sherpa platform and uses some components from the Himalayan, but gets a smaller tank, a new swingarm, and a new seat. It carries a retro design language but in a modern way, making it a stylish motorcycle.
The Yezdi Scrambler, on the other hand, also follows a retro theme but looks more ready for the dirt than the road. It has a tall, wide handlebar, raised front and rear fenders, a round headlight, wire-spoke wheels, and upswept exhausts.
Both motorcycles get traditional telescopic front forks, and from here on, they differ widely. The Guerrilla gets 17-inch alloy wheels at both ends, a monoshock at the rear, a TFT instrument console, two ride modes, LED lighting, disc brakes at both ends with dual-channel ABS, and more. The Yezdi Scrambler gets a 19 and 17-inch wheel setup, a digital instrument console, ABS modes, and a dual disc brake setup.

Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 vs Yezdi Scrambler: Which one should you pick?
On paper, the Guerrilla has a clear advantage over the Yezdi Scrambler, and so is the case in real life. The Guerrilla may look more street-focused compared to the Scrambler, but the latter is more suited for the street than serious off-road. When it comes to light off-roading, both are equally capable. The Guerrilla costs more than the Scrambler, but it’s worth the extra money.
