Both motorcycles are powered by a liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine mated to a six-speed gearbox. The Guerrilla 450 uses the same 452cc single-cylinder Sherpa engine as the Himalayan while the KTM Duke 390 uses the new-gen 399cc single-cylinder unit. The KTM Duke 390 makes more power than the Guerrilla 450 but torque figures are identical. Both bikes receive a 6-speed gearbox with a slip and assist clutch.

Rest of the components in Guerilla are on par with the KTM Duke 390.
