Royal Enfield has announced Himalayan Spirit—a curated off-road experience designed exclusively for Himalayan riders. This is not just another ride; it’s for riders who want to explore beyond the tarmac.
Held at the acclaimed BigRock Dirt Park in Kolar, the event is built on a simple philosophy: the only thing you have to do to go up is show up.
What is the Himalayan Spirit about?
Himalayan Spirit is designed to lower the psychological barriers around adventure motorcycling by equipping riders with essential riding techniques and life skills in a safe, structured environment. It’s not about being the most adventurous or the fastest; it’s about being ready with the right mindset first.
The day is a proper shakedown for both the rider and their machine. The day will guide participants through two distinct loops, Challenge and Navigation, designed around the essential skills that matter in the dirt. They will tackle technical sections, test their limits on obstacle courses, and put their navigation skills to test on a curated trail.
And because every great adventure is a team effort, there will be a dedicated activity to build camaraderie and reinforce Royal Enfield’s philosophy of giving back and leaving every place better. This is how the Himalayan Spirit would help every rider explore, endure, and evolve.

Royal Enfield Himalayan
The Royal Enfield Himalayan is the company’s first motorcycle to feature a liquid-cooled engine and is also the first in the 450cc range that now consists of the Guerrilla as well. Launched in 2023, the Himalayan quickly gathered fame globally for its on-road and off-road capabilities and became popular in the sub-500cc adventure motorcycle segment.
The motorcycle took all the good aspects of the older Himalayan 411 and is a great all-rounder, be it commutes, long highway tours, or off-roading. The engine offers a lot of grunt, while the long-travel Showa front forks take anything in its stride well.
In India, the Himalayan does not have a direct competitor, but the segment consists of the KTM 390 Adventure, which is lighter and makes more power. Globally, the CFMoto 450 is a close competitor to the Himalayan, which is expected to come to India soon.
