Royal Enfield Classic 350 launched at Rs 2 lakh

The 2024 Classic 350 has new features and a range of colour options and competes with the Jawa 350 and Honda CB350.

Royal Enfield has launched its best-selling motorcycle, the Classic 350, starting at Rs 1,99,500. Bookings are open, and test rides will begin on September 1. The Classic is available in five variants: Heritage, Heritage Premium, Signals, Dark, and Chrome. In addition to new variants and paint schemes, the 2024 Classic 350 has new features. Royal Enfield unveiled the Classic 350 update on August 12 but had not disclosed the prices until now.

At the launch of the 2024 Classic 350, B Govindarajan, CEO, Royal Enfield, said, “The Classic 350 is a true embodiment of Royal Enfield’s pure motorcycling DNA and has remained the purest expression of elegance, fine craftsmanship and ever-lasting style and beauty. Needless to say, that it has remained true to character and essence through all these years, and it has also remained accessible and approachable, and a canvas for customisation. We have ensured that it continues to be all of this, as we launch the Classic with new feature upgrades while maintaining accessibility.”

Royal Enfield Classic 350: Prices

The 2024 Classic 350 is priced starting at Rs 1,99,500, making the entry-level Heritage variant Rs 6,420 more expensive than the previous model’s Redditch Red and Redditch Grey versions. The new Classic 350 comes in a variety of colour options: the Heritage offers Madras Red and Jodhpur Blue, Heritage Premium comes in Medallion Bronze, Signals are available in Commando Sand, Dark offers two options—Gun Grey and Stealth Black—and the top-of-the-line Chrome is available in Emerald Green.

Royal Enfield Classic 350: New Features

The Classic 350 remains true to its retro heritage while incorporating modern features. A Royal Enfield 350 cc now comes equipped with an LED headlight, LED pilot lamps, and a gear position indicator on the LCD beneath the analogue speedometer, alongside an upgraded Type-C charging port. The premium Dark and Emerald (Chrome) variants offer extra standard features such as the Tripper navigation pod, adjustable clutch and brake levers, and LED indicators.

Royal Enfield Classic 350: Specification

The Classic 350 retains the 349 cc J series air-oil cooled single-cylinder engine with an output of 20.2 bhp at 6100 rpm and 27 Nm at 4000 rpm. It is paired with a 5-speed gearbox. It has a seat height of 805 mm, ground clearance of 170 mm and a 13-litre fuel tank. The Classic 350 will compete against the Jawa 350 and the Honda CB350.
