Royal Enfield confirmed the launch timeline of the electric motorcycle, Flying Flea C6. At an earnings call, Eicher Motors, the parent company of Royal Enfield, announced that the company’s first-ever electric motorcycle will make its debut in the final quarter of FY2026. Royal Enfield’s electric lineup will be called Flying Flea. The company’s CEO, B Govindarajan, announced that the Flying Flea C6 will make its debut in the last quarter of FY 26 (January – March 2026). Even though the timeline has not been confirmed, the company will also launch the S5 later in 2026.Â
Royal Enfield clocked its highest quarterly sales of 2,80,801 units in Q4 FY25. The company registered year-on-year growth of 23.2%. For the first time, the company crossed the 1 million annual sales mark as it closed the year with 1,002,893 units.
Flying Flea: What to expect?
B Govindarajan, chief executive officer of Royal Enfield, confirmed at the earnings call that the company has not decided whether to establish an exclusive electric motorcycle showroom or stick to its established network. Speaking to ET Auto, Govindarajan added that Flying Flea will not be established as a separate subsidiary or business unit.

Speaking to Express Drives, Chief Growth Officer for Royal Enfield’s electric vehicle division, Mario Alvisi said there is a customer base that wants a quiet motorcycle without all the hassles of a traditional ICE engine. However, there is a small catch. Royal Enfield is ready with a product, the customers want such a product, but the infrastructure doesn’t allow it, not yet.
Royal Enfield calls the Flying Flea a City+ bike, making it an urban-focused two-wheeler. The motorcycle is equipped with a lot of tech, such as a Qualcomm processor, girder forks, a hidden rear suspension, skinny wheels, a TFT instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity and navigation. Flying Flea is expected to come with features like traction control and multiple ride modes.
