Despite a prolonged negative commentary in the virtual world, Ola Electric continues to be one of the strongest players in the electric two-wheeler industry. Although the Bengaluru-based electric vehicle (EV) startup has slipped from the top spot to the third spot in the first quarter of FY2026, its market share continues to hover around a sizable 18 percent.
The company has now marked a major milestone as it rolled out its one-millionth vehicle from its Futurefactory in Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu. Ola Electric commenced production in 2021 and has achieved this landmark in under four years. The electric two-wheeler maker is driven by a strong demand for its S1 range of electric scooters, and the recently launched Roadster X electric motorcycles.
Ola Roadster X+ special edition launched
To mark this momentous occasion, Ola Electric rolled out a special edition Roadster X+. The one millionth unit to be rolled out by Ola Electric, this version of the Roadster X+ gets cosmetic enhancements over the standard model like a midnight blue shade complemented by sporty red accents across dual-tone seat, rims, and battery pack.

This special edition model highlights sustainability with badges made from recycled copper waste and electroplated bar ends, showcasing Ola’s commitment to integrating recyclability into its design philosophy. However, mechanically it remains unchanged. The Roadster X+ comes with two battery pack options: 4.5 kWh and 9.1 kWh, with a respective single-charge range of 252 km and 501 km. Both versions can clock a top speed of 125 kmph. It isn’t clear which battery pack the new special edition model comes with.
