Ola Electric Mobility has announced two massive changes in the senior management level. The company through a regulatory filing has revealed that Anshul Khandelwal, Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), and Suvonil Chatterjee, Chief Technology and Product Officer (CTO) have tendered their resignation with effect from December 27, 2025.

The Bengaluru-based EV manufacturing startup states that both senior executives have resigned from their respective roles in the company due to personal reasons. This development comes in the close heels of the recent resignation of Ola Group’s Chief People Officer.

Khandelwal, who joined Ola in 2019 as Head of Marketing at Ola Foods, was appointed CMO of Ola Electric in 2022. Chatterjee, who joined the company in 2017 as Head of Design, was promoted to his current role in 2021. Their departures follow a series of high-level executive resignations and a recent restructuring that impacted 500 employees in November 2024.

Departures from Ola Electric in 2024

In 2024, Ola Electric saw several high-profile departures, including Pramendra Tomar, Company Secretary and Compliance Officer, and N Balachandar, Chief People Officer of the Ola Group, earlier this month. Earlier this year, Wayne Burgess, former JLR Design Director, also left the company after a three-year tenure as Deputy Vice President of Design.

The timing of the exit comes at a time when Ola Electric recorded the single largest expansion for any automotive company in the country. On 25 December 2024, the EV manufacturer expanded from 800 to 4000 stores and service centres across the nation at one go. The company also revealed the S1 Pro Sona Edition and the new MovOS 5 software on the occasion of Christmas.
As per a previous report by Reuters, the Ministry of Heavy Industries ordered an audit of the firm’s servicing hubs in October this year, which was followed by the Central Consumer Protection Authority serving  a notice to the company over alleged violations of customer rights, misleading ads, and unfair trade practices.
