Norton Motorcycles will soon make its India debut later this year. Now owned by TVS Motor Company, this development was confirmed by the company CEO, Sudarshan Venu, earlier in May this year when India and the United Kingdom inked the significant trade deal between the two countries.
The Indian-owned British bikemaker has now teased a new product on its social media handles. This new model is slated to make its debut at the upcoming edition of EICMA in Milan, Italy which will kick off on November 4. The social media post teaser provides a glimpse of the rear section of the new motorcycle.
Norton new bike teased
The post is accompanied by the caption which reads as “Norton’s resurgence. A new era begins. Be the first to know.” As of now, details are scarce, but rumours suggest it may be based on a new platform, potentially supporting a range of models. It is likely that this motorcycle will target the premium segment of buyers.

One of the most striking elements in the teaser is the taillight design, which departs from the conventional single light unit in favour of multiple vertical slats. This possibly indicates a brand new model launch, something which is specific to India. In July last year, Norton announced that it will launch as many as six new models in selected markets, including India, in the next three years.
However, neither Norton nor TVS has even hinted about the possible specifications for the upcoming India-spec bike. A previous Autocar India report suggested that these new bikes will include all-new single and twin cylinder platforms. The report further mentions that Norton is developing a 400-450cc single-cylinder platform and a 600-650cc twin-cylinder platform.
Other rumours indicate that TVS and Norton are jointly developing a new 300-400cc platform for models that will compete against Royal Enfield and Triumph. At the same time, in an interview with CNBC TV18 last month, Venu confirmed that the new Norton set to arrive at EICMA 2025 was a 1200cc four-cylinder superbike. Whether it’s an updated V4SV or an entirely new model, this development is expected to be a significant milestone in Norton’s second innings.
