Royal Enfield, after unveiling the Scram 440 last year, has officially launched the motorcycle in India, priced at Rs 2.08 lakh, ex-showroom. The Royal Enfield Scram 440 gets slight tweaks compared to the Scram 411 it replaces, but the biggest change comes with the engine — it is now a 440cc, single-cylinder air-cooled unit that makes 25.4bhp and 34Nm of peak torque, mated to a six-speed gearbox.
That said, the new Royal Enfield Scram 440 is available in two variants – Trail and Force – and they primarily differ in terms of equipment. Despite the differences, both motorcycles get LED headlights, dual-channel ABS, and an improved front brake. Let’s take a closer look at the two variants of the Royal Enfield Scram 440 in detail.

Royal Enfield Scram 440 Trail

The trail is the more off-road-focused version of the Royal Enfield Scram 440 and features wire-spoked wheels with tubed tyres. Wire-spoke wheels handle rough terrain better and the motorcycle gets a 19-17 wheel setup. The Trail variant of the Scram 440 is available in two colours: Trail Blue and Trail Green.
Royal Enfield Scram 440 Force

The Force variant is more road-focused with its alloy wheel setup and tubeless tyres. This takes away the pain of having punctures, which is a big concern on long trips. The Royal Enfield Scram 440 Force variant is available in three colour options: Force Blue, Force Grey, and Force Teal.
