2025 Kawasaki Z900 highlights
Platform and design
The new Kawasaki Z900 is based on the same trellis frame as before and also follows the famous ‘Sugomi’ design language that made it a success. However, Kawasaki has updated the headlight design, tank shrouds, and has also tweaked the tail section of the motorcycle, giving it a much sharper and sportier look. Overall, the motorcycle retains the familiar design but in a much sportier package.
Equipment and features

In terms of equipment, the new Kawasaki Z900 gets adjustable USD forks at the front, a monoshock at the rear, 17-inch wheels, disc brakes at both ends, and a TFT instrument console with phone connectivity. The motorcycle also gets an IMU-based cornering traction control and ABS. This ups the safety quotient of the motorcycle and brings it on par with its competition. The Z900 also gets cruise control now.
Engine Specifications
The new Kawasaki Z900 is powered by 948cc, in-line four-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that makes 123bhp and 97Nm of torque. The engine meets the latest emission norms. The engine is paired to a six-speed gearbox with a bidirectional quick shifter, while it also gets two power modes.
Deliveries for the new Kawasaki Z900 will commence soon, while bookings have begun. The updated Z900 competes primarily with the Triumph Street Triple in the segment, which is priced at Rs 10.17 lakh, ex-showroom.
