The Honda X-ADV 750 was a much-anticipated launch, as it is a unique offering, especially for India — big engine and adventure styling. Having seen the vehicle as a concept many years ago and now finally on sale in India, here are three highlights you need to know about the new Honda X-ADV 750 if you’re considering buying one.

Honda X-ADV 750: Platform and design

The new Honda X-ADV 750 is built around a steel tubular frame, and the scooter features an adventure tourer design, which is a first for India. While the Hero Xoom 160 gets certain design elements to make it look like a tourer, the Honda X-ADV is a proper adventure scooter.

The Honda features a twin headlight setup with DRLs, a tall windscreen, a wide handlebar, a side-mounted up-swept exhaust, knuckle guards, and a large seat. All these come together well to give the Honda an adventure motorcycle look but packaged as a scooter.

Honda X-ADV 750: Equipment and features

In terms of equipment, the Honda X-ADV gets USD forks at the front, a monoshock at the rear, tubeless wire-spoke wheels, 17-inch front and 15-inch rear wheels wrapped in dual-purpose tyres, a TFT instrument console, LED lighting, disc brakes at both ends, and more.

As far as features are concerned, the Honda X-ADV gets cruise control, dual-channel ABS, ride modes, Honda Selectable Torque Control, Bluetooth connectivity, navigation, USB-C charging port, and more. The Honda adventure scooter also gets 22 litres of storage space under the seat.

Honda X-ADV 750: Engine specifications

The engine is a highlight of the new Honda — The X-ADV adventure scooter uses a 745cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine that makes 58bhp and 67Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a dual-clutch transmission, which is again a first for India in a scooter. The Honda X-ADV has no direct competition in India, but can give some adventure bikes a run for their money.
