Honda, after recently updating its premium offerings in India such as the Transalp 750 and the 6500cc twins, is now concentrating on the commuter segment. The Japanese manufacturer has unveiled the new Shine 100 DX, which will sit above the existing Shine 100 in Honda’s lineup in India.
New Honda Shine 100 DX — What’s new?
In terms of what’s new, the Honda Shine 100 DX gets certain updates over the Shine 100 to make it a more premium offer. The new Honda Shine 100 DX gets a wider tank that holds 10 litres of fuel, updated graphics, and an LCD instrument cluster. That said, the motorcycle is also available in four colour options: Pearl Ingenious Black, Imperial Red Metallic, Athletic Blue Metallic, and Geny Grey Metallic.
Speaking of the design, the new Shine 100 DX gets chrome inserts on the headlight cowl and the exhaust heatshield finished in chrome, giving the new Shine 100 DX a contemporary look. All the little updates, along with the larger fuel tank and new graphics, give the motorcycle a more premium look and some visual bulk.
