2025 Honda CBR650R — What were the updates?
The motorcycle has received big changes in terms of design, making it look sharper. The new CBR650R has borrowed cues from the larger litre-class CBR with a sharper front fairing, sleek split headlights, and a tweaked tail section. Overall, the motorcycle looks more aggressive compared to the older model.
The motorcycle is based on a steel frame, suspended by Showa SFF-BP USD forks at the front and an adjustable monoshock at the rear. The motorcycle rides on 17-inch wheels and gets disc brakes at both ends. The updated CBR650R also gets a TFT instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity.
Powering the motorcycle is a 649cc, inline four-cylinder engine that makes a healthy 94bhp and 63Nm of torque with the help of a six-speed gearbox. The new CBR650R competes directly with the all-new Triumph Daytona 660, which makes 94bhp and 69Nm of torque while carrying a price tag of Rs 9.72 lakh, ex-showroom.
