What does a multiple time formula one champion do in his free time, travel? Date beautiful women and drive expensive cars through exotic locales, well that would be the 70s. Silver arrow pilot Lewis Hamilton spends his free time, designing exotic motorcycles for Italian superbike manufacturer MV Agusta. His first ever creation in partnership with Italian superbike manufacturers was the super attractive MV Agusta Dragster RR LH, a limited edition motorcycle that sold out all 244 of them with a few hours of its launch. The two strange bedfellows have teamed up once again to make another motorcycle, although MV Agusta is not going to tell us anything about it. MV Agusta says that after building a few one off motorcycles especially for Lewis the idea of building more audience focused motorcycles for sale. Which brings us to this mystery bikes that they have collaborated on, we neither know what it’s called or what kind of motorcycles they will be but we do know that it will be out in a month. Which means that we will have to wait till then to see the new MV and figure out what it’s all about. Until then use your imagination, heavens know I did.
Anyway MV in their own strange Italian way did tell us that something is coming which is fair, they also sent us these two quotes about how this product came to be Giovanni Castiglioni – MV Agusta Motor President states: “I met Lewis a few years ago when he called up our Customer Care asking in a very humble way to buy a special bike. After having developed some 1/1 bikes for Lewis we turned our common passion into a partnership with the creation of the successful Dragster RR LH produced in 244 units. I’m very excited and proud to continue this cooperation that will see new MV Agustas co-designed with Lewis entering the market in the next month.”
“I am very excited to continue my partnership with MV Agusta.I love working with Giovanni and the guys at MV Agusta, their passion for engineering and attention to detail produces quite stunning, original looking bikes. My projects with MV Agusta are a great way to combine my love of riding bikes with my interest
in the creative design process so I am very much involved with the CRC (Castiglioni Research Department) design team throughout.” said Lewis Hamilton at the announcement!
