Royal Enfield introduced the Shotgun 650 Icon Edition in limited numbers a few days ago, limited to 100 units. The motorcycle was available on Royal Enfield’s app and the motorcycles have been sold out. The Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 Icon edition was priced at Rs Rs. 4.25 lakh ex-showroom, Rs 65,000 more than the standard version.
Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 Icon Edition — What’s special?
The Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 Icon Edition was made in collaboration with Icon Motorsports and was limited to 100 units globally. Out of 100 examples, 25 were allotted for India and all of them have been sold out. The motorcycle gets the same mechanicals, but the colour theme made it stand out.
The motorcycle features a three-tone paint job – white, blue, and red – which gave the motorcycle a premium, yet sporty look. The rear shocks are finished in blue and the seat is in red, while the wheels sport a golden colour. Customers who bought the motorcycle also get an Icon Slabtown Intercept RE riding jacket.
Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 Icon Edition — Features and engine specifications
In terms of features, the Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 Icon Edition gets USD front forks, dual rear shocks, disc brakes at both ends with dual-channel ABS, 18-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels, and a single seat. Powering the motorcycle is the familiar 648cc air-cooled parallel-twin engine mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
