KTM has been in the news testing multiple motorcycles with its new engines, like the latest 990, 1390, and possibly even a 1490. Known for its off-road and adventure portfolio, Team Orange has teased five new motorcycles, which will likely be unveiled or launched at EICMA later this year. So what are they?
KTM upcoming motorcycles — 390 Adventure also?
While the motorcycles are completely covered, we can say that these bikes will be in multiple styles. While the motorcycles towards the right seem to be larger motorcycles, probably in the 1390 family, the two on the left look interesting.
The smallest one of the lot could be a dirtbike, however, the one on the extreme left could be the motorcycle a lot of enthusiasts are waiting for — the KTM 390 Adventure. Based on the spy shots so far, the 390 Adventure could be offered in multiple variants, including a proper off-road-focused version.
The 390 Adventure will be based on the same platform as the new 390 Duke, which saw a major update last year. The motorcycle will get long travel suspension with adjustability, spoke wheels, a host of electronic aids, a quickshifter, and more. The engine will be the 399cc unit that makes 45bhp and 39Nm of peak torque with the help of a 6-speed gearbox.
