The new 390 range, which includes the 390 Adventure S, Adventure R, and Enduro R made a lot of headlines last year, and when KTM finally took the wraps off, the motorcycles were no doubt, what enthusiasts expected. However, for India, KTM said that only the 390 Adventure S and the Enduro R models will be sold, with a lot of details about the latter still unclear. Now, KTM has revealed more details of the new 390 Enduro R.

2025 KTM 390 Enduro R — What does the motorcycle get?

Let’s get a few basics out of the way first. The design is closer to a dirt bike than an adventure motorcycle and the front headlight cowl is similar to what is seen on the KTM 690 Enduro R. The motorcycle gets a high-mounted front fender and minimal bodywork to keep the weight as low as possible, making the motorcycle very capable off-road. The most interesting aspect here is that the 390 Enduro R can be legally registered for the road in India.

The new KTM 390 Enduro R gets WP Apex open-cartridge USD forks with rebound and compression adjustment, while the rear features a monoshock with preload and rebound adjustability. Together, the suspension setup has 230mm of travel while the 390 Enduro R gets 260mm of ground clearance. The motorcycle rides on a 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wheel setup with wire spoke wheels. The seat height stands at 885mm.

2025 KTM 390 Enduro R — Electronics and engine specifications

The Enduro R features a 4.1-inch TFT instrument cluster with phone connectivity via Bluetooth. The motorcycle will also feature music accessibility, turn-by-turn navigation, and app connectivity. That said, the motorcycle will get dual-channel ABS that has a dedicated control on the left switchgear to turn it off. The lighting on the new KTM 390 Enduro R are full-LED.

Moving on to the engine, the motorcycle will be powered by the new 399cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder unit that currently powers the 390 Duke. The engine makes 45.3bhp and 39Nm of peak torque with the help of a six-speed gearbox. There is no news if KTM has played around with the gearing, however, this will be known during its launch, which is expected to happen later this month.
