Kawasaki has launched the Eliminator in India at a price tag of Rs 5.62 lakh (ex-showroom). Bookings for the neo-retro cruiser have already begun and deliveries are expected to commence soon as well. The bike comes as a fully-imported model via the CBU route, and hence the hefty price tag.

It is available in a single paint scheme– Metallic Flat Spark Black. It is billed as a more premium alternative to Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650. The latest iteration of the power cruiser made its global debut in March last year. Kawasaki teased the Eliminator in India ahead of the India Bike Week 2023 in December.

However, contrary to expectations the Japanese superbike brand decided against launching the bike at the annual motoring event. In terms of appearance, the Eliminator is a modern interpretation of a retro cruiser with visual highlights such as a round headlamp, a sleek fuel tank, dual exhaust mufflers, an exposed frame, and short fenders.

It gets a typical low-slung stance with an accessible seat height of 735mm. Riding posture is fairly neutral with a tall handlebar and centre-set footpegs. It comes with a split-seat setup, however, real estate for the pillion is questionable. The internals including the engine casing, alloy wheels, and exposed frame are completely blacked-out, enhancing the bike’s modern appeal.
