IGNYTE Helmets, the premium brand of Steelbird Hi-Tech India, has launched the IGN-58, an open-face helmet that merges retro-inspired design with advanced Expanded Polypropylene (EPP) liner technology.

Developed in alignment with the Vision Zero global initiative—a worldwide movement to eliminate road fatalities and serious injuries—the IGN-58 reflects IGNYTE’s commitment to innovation and rider safety.
Unlike traditional helmets that use Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) liners offering only single-impact protection, the IGN-58 introduces EPP, a next-generation material that provides multi-impact performance, elastic memory, water and chemical resistance, and unmatched durability.
Its ability to rebound after an impact ensures enhanced safety over time while delivering a lighter, stronger, and more sustainable riding experience.
The IGN-58 features a high-impact ABS shell, a professional Double D-Ring buckle system, and a distinctive bubble visor crafted from extrusion-grade polycarbonate with UV protection and a scratch-resistant finish. Inside, the helmet features antimicrobial and anti-allergic padding, breathable mesh panels, and removable cheek pads.
Each helmet comes with premium packaging, including a dust-proof carry bag and a miniature EPP helmet model that showcases the breakthrough liner technology within.
Offered in five sizes (540, 560, 580, 600, and 620 mm) and eleven colours including White, Desert Storm, Athena Grey, Battle Green, Chestnut Red, Black, Squadron Blue, Dull Slate, Deep Green, Armada Blue, and Redditch Blue, the IGN-58 also features five Eagle decal combinations, allowing riders to personalize their style while maintaining top-tier safety.
Dual-homologated under ISI (IS 4151:2015) and DOT (FMVSS 218, USA) certifications, the IGN-58 is backed by a three-year warranty, reinforcing IGNYTE’s promise of quality, safety, and reliability.
