In a dangerous bid for social media fame, eight men in Hyderabad decided to push the limits by riding a single motorcycle at the same time. The reckless stunt, captured on video, shows the group speeding on a national highway without helmets or any safety gear, endangering themselves and others on the road.
What may have felt like a Titanic-style ‘kings of the world’ moment quickly turned into a harsh reality check when the police intervened. The riders were promptly arrested for rash driving, serving as a stark reminder that such stunts are not just illegal but also life-threatening. Authorities continue to crack down on dangerous road behaviour, emphasising that safety should never be compromised for a viral moment.
Moment of stupidity or instant fame?
There’s a very famous quote on fame and success by Jim Rohn, an American entrepreneur, author, and motivational speaker —“Successful people do what unsuccessful people are not willing to do. Don’t wish it were easier; wish you were better.” Unfortunately, these eight riders ignored the advice, chasing instant fame without prioritising responsibility or self-improvement.
Eight men were arrested by Hyderabad Police for performing a dangerous stunt on a single two-wheeler along the Outer Ring Road (ORR) service road. The incident came to light after a video of the stunt was flagged on a social media platform X. Following the complaint, the individuals were taken into custody and handed over to the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) Police Station. A formal complaint has been registered, and legal proceedings are underway. According to India Today, the Station House Officer of Rajendranagar Police Station confirmed that the group’s actions constituted a serious breach of public safety and necessitated immediate intervention.
