Husqvarna has been working on the facelift Vitpilen 250, which is expected to make its debut next year in India. Recently, the test mule of the 2024 Vitpilen 250 was spotted testing in Pune. Here’s what to expect from the updated Vitpilen 250.
Husqvarna Vitpilen 250: Engine specs
Like KTM, Husqvarna also comes under the Bajaj brand and the Vitpilen 250 is expected to be manufactured in India. It will be powered by the same liquid-cooled 250cc engine which is available in the Duke 250. The 30bhp single-cylinder motor has 25Nm of torque and is mated to a 6-speed gearbox with a quick shifter.
Husqvarna Vitpilen 250: Design update
The 2024 Vitpilen 250 looks like it has spent some time at the gym as it appears buffed up when compared to the current model. The tank design is larger and its side panels appear to be longer. The facelift Vitpilen 250 will get a new LED headlight, an off-set rear mono-shock and new alloy wheels. Apart from the tail section being tweaked, the biggest update is that it gets a traditional rear mudguard instead of a tyre hugger.
Husqvarna Vitpilen 250: Hardware
As the Vitpilen 250 is based on the Duke 250, it shares a lot of components from the KTM. It will come equipped with upside-down front forks, 320mm front disc brakes and 240mm disc at the rear. Husqvarna will be upgrading the digital console with a bigger-sized screen which could come with a turn-by-turn navigation feature and a Type-C charging port.
