Honda is looking to expand its range of big bikes in India with two new launches this week: Rebel 500 and X-ADV 750. But the Japanese auto giant isn’t looking to stop here as it looks to update its existing Big Wing lineup. Recently, Honda unveiled the updated Transalp 750 globally.
According to a recent report by Autocar India, the Honda Transalp 750 will be launched soon, somewhere around June-July this year. A road-biased middleweight adventure tourer, the Transalp has received several minor updates to its design and mechanicals.
2025 Honda Transalp: What’s new?
The updated Honda Transalp 750 maintains its familiar silhouette but introduces a refreshed front end, now featuring a twin headlight design. It also sports a newly designed windscreen made from Durabio — an eco-friendly, bio-engineered plastic. This redesigned windscreen improves wind deflection, enhancing rider comfort by directing airflow away more effectively.

On the mechanical front, the suspension has been refined for improved ride quality on both road and trail. The bike continues to feature USD front forks and a rear monoshock, supported by wire-spoke wheels and disc brakes at both ends. Additionally, the new Transalp XL750 is now offered in three fresh color options: Rose White, Graphite Black, and Pearl Deep Mud Grey.
2025 Honda Transalp: What’s unchanged?
What remains unchanged is the engine — a 755cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin that produces 90bhp and 75Nm of peak torque, paired with a six-speed gearbox. However, Honda has fine-tuned the fuel-injection system to enhance throttle response, delivering improved power in the low and mid-range.
In addition to the engine, the motorcycle continues to feature the same TFT instrument cluster, switchgear, and electronic package. When launched in India, the updated Honda Transalp 750 will go up against rivals like the KTM 890 Adventure R.
