Honda has shared a teaser on its UK website for an electric motorcycle, which closely resembles the EV Fun concept that was showcased at EICMA last year. The motorcycle is covered in camo, suggesting that it is still in its development stage. The new Honda electric motorcycle will make its debut on September 2.
Honda electric motorcycle: What does the teaser show?
The teaser shows the overall design of the motorcycle, and the front section looks very similar to the EV Fun concept. The motorcycle features an LED strip that runs across the headlight, gets bar-end mirrors, and a single-sided swingarm.
Other details visible in the teaser include a TFT instrument console, 17-inch wheels, disc brakes at both ends, and a chunky 150-section Pirelli Rosso 3 tyre at the rear. All the details point out to the Honda EV Fun concept that was showcased.
EV Fun concept: What is it?

The Honda EV Fun concept is an all-electric street naked and is also the first Honda to feature a fixed battery. The motorcycle is aimed to offer the same fun as a 500cc motorcycle, and Honda says the bike will offer the same amount of performance, if not more.
Honda says that the concept will be the company’s “first electric sports model to be equipped with a fixed battery and is scheduled to be commercialized in 2025.”
The Honda concept features USD forks, a monoshock at the rear, a flat, single-piece seat, a flat handlebar, and a sleek headlight design. There are no details on the battery specifications yet, but Honda says:
“The EV Fun Concept’s system and charging were developed by applying Honda’s know-how and technologies cultivated in its automobiles and power products. The battery is compatible with the CCS2 quick charger, the same standard as automobiles, and has been developed to optimize the balance between light weight and quick charging performance, as well as to provide a cruising range of over 100km or more, sufficient for city use.”
There is no word on Honda’s launch of the e-motorcycle in India, however, if you are looking for an electric motorcycle that offers performance, the Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2 is the way forward.
