Celebrating 25 years of operations in India, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) unveiled the 2025 CB125 Hornet, alongside the Shine 100 DX. The Japanese two-wheeler company has announced that the bookings for the CB125 Hornet will commence from August 1, 2025.
On the unveiling of the CB125 Hornet, Yogesh Mathur, Director, Sales and Marketing, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India, said that the new motorcycle aims at Gen-Z buyers as it is packed with segment-leading equipment and solid performance. He said, “The CB125 Hornet is set to redefine the 125cc premium commuter space with its advanced styling, segment-first features like golden USD front forks and best-in-class 0-60 kmph time of 5.4 seconds, making it the perfect urban companion for Gen-Z buyers to Ride their Rizz.”
2025 Honda CB125 Hornet: Features
The new CB125 Hornet is equipped with plenty of features, which makes it quite an attractive proposition. The Hornet is the first in its segment to be equipped with golden-coloured upside-down front forks along with a 5-step adjustable rear monoshock. Honda has packed the CB125 Hornet with all LED lights, including headlamps, DRLs, indicators and the tail lamp. For convenience, Honda has mounted the indicators higher for better visibility and has shifted the ignition key position to the fuel tank for convenience. It rides on 17-inch alloy wheels and has a brake system of a 240 mm disc brake in front and a 130 mm drum at the rear with single-channel ABS.
The CB125 Hornet gets a 4.2-inch TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity and Honda RoadSync app compatibility. The app offers features like navigation, calls & SMS alerts, and music playback with a headset. The screen can be toggled by the switches placed on the left handlebar. It gets a USB Type-C charging port, an engine stop switch and a side-stand indicator with an engine inhibitor.
The CB125 Hornet is offered in four colour options – Pearl Siren Blue with Lemon Ice Yellow, Pearl Igneous Black, Pearl Siren Blue with Athletic Blue Metallic, and Pearl Siren Blue with Sports Red.
2025 Honda CB125 Hornet: Engine Specifications
The CB125 Hornet is powered by a 123.94 cc, single-cylinder engine with an output of 11 bhp at 7,500 rpm and 11.2 Nm at 6,000 rpm. It is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. According to Honda, the CB125 Hornet is the fastest in its segment, as it does 0 – 60 kmph in 5.4 seconds.
