Hero MotoCorp is gearing up to launch a new version of the Glamour which the company claims to be a new benchmark in the 125cc motorcycle segment. The company recently shared a teaser of the upcoming motorcycle on its social media handles, claiming it to be India’s “Most Futuristic 125cc”.
Besides a partial glimpse of the bike, the teaser also comes with a caption that reveals this new 125cc bike will be launched on 19 August 2025. Also, a few other details about the upcoming iteration of Hero Glamour have been leaked on the internet. Ahead of its launch tomorrow, let us look at what to expect from the updated Hero Glamour which will be called Glamour X.
Hero Glamour X: What new to expect?
The latest teaser gives out plenty of details about the upcoming iteration of Glamour. For starters, leaked images on the internet reveal a new moniker called Glamour X which suggests this new model will sit on top of the Glamour range. The updated Glamour X will get a new X-shaped taillamp cluster which is reminiscent of the Xtreme range of motorcycles.
The images and teaser also reveal a new fully-digital instrument console. The segmented colour LCD unit reveals a ‘Road’ mode, suggesting the inclusion of multiple riding modes could be offered. However, the biggest addition to the new age Glamour will be cruise control, a first in its segment. This has been revealed from the all-new switchgear layout with the cruise control button on the right-hand side.
When launched, Hero Glamour X will become the most affordable motorcycle with cruise control. Currently, this title is held by TVS Apache RTR 310. While we don’t expect any major changes in design, leaked images indicate the addition of new pointed tank extensions with a pointed fuel tank. Also expect introduction of new colour schemes.
Hero Glamour X: What will remain unchanged?
Mechanically, Hero Glamour X is likely to remain the same. Powering the motorcycle will be a familiar 124.7cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine that pushes out 10.7 bhp and 10.6 Nm of peak torque. This unit will be paired with a 5-speed gearbox. The Glamour X will sit on top of the Glamour Xtec which is priced between Rs 90,000 and Rs 95,000 (both ex-showroom). With the addition of cruise control expect the new Glamour X to be priced above Rs 1 lakh (ex-showroom).
