Royal Enfield is set to enter the electric vehicle (EV) space early next year with its Flying Flea range. The first two models — namely C6 and S6 — under this new subsidiary brand have already been showcased, first at EICMA 2024 in Milan, Italy followed by an India debut earlier in February this year.
Royal Enfield Flying Flea showroom in Paris
The company has now announced the launch of its first Flying Flea showroom but that’s not in India. The Chennai-based bikemaker will set up its first Flying Flea showroom in Paris in early 2026, Royal Enfield announced this at the recent Paris Fashion week held between September 5-7. At the same event, Flying Flea also presented handcrafted motorcycles styled by design students.
The upcoming showroom will be dedicated to only electric bikes built by Royal Enfield under the Flying Flea nameplate. The Paris location, once operational, will mark Flying Flea’s entry into European retail business. However, Enfield hasn’t revealed the exact date for the same yet.

Flying Flea employs more than 200 engineers across the UK and India, focusing on the development of proprietary motor, battery, and software technologies. The company has also set up manufacturing operations at Royal Enfield’s Vallam Vadagal facility. Additionally, Royal Enfield is an early investor in Stark Future, a Spanish EV startup specializing in low-volume, high-performance electric off-road motorcycles.
Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6 details
Both Flying Flea electric bikes — C6 and S6 — particularly the former, have been spied testing on multiple occasions in the past few months. Last week, the C6 won the prestigious Red Dot Award, under the ‘Design Concept’ category. The design of the Flying Fly C6 takes inspiration from the original Flying Flea that was purpose-built for use during WWII.
Compared to the current-gen Enfields, the electric bike looks lean and taut instead of bulky. Interestingly, the bike comes as a single-seater in the pre-production much like the original Flying Flea. Other visual highlights include an aluminium swingarm, alloy wheels, round mirrors along with relatively thin tyres.

On the features front, the Flying Flea C6 gets LED lighting and LED turn signals. Apart from that it gets a fully digital TFT circular instrument console which packs Bluetooth connectivity and navigation. Although the entire list of features is yet to be decoded, we expect the reincarnated Flying Fly to offer amenities like traction control, and ride modes.
