Italian motorcycle maker Ducati is expanding its Multistrada V4 lineup in India and has launched the more off-road-oriented V4 Rally in India, priced at Rs 29.72 lakh, ex-showroom. Ducati also offers the Multistrada V4 Rally in a black scheme that costs Rs 30.02 lakh, ex-showroom. The new Rally sits above the Multistrada V4 S in the lineup, which costs Rs 26.73 lakh.
What makes the new Ducati Multistrada V4 Rally stand out from the other Multistrada variants is the larger 30-litre fuel tank, a redesigned windscreen that is taller and wider, and revised luggage mounts to allow more space for the pillion.
On the hardware front, the Ducati Multistrada V4 Rally gets 200mm travel (front and rear) on the suspension as compared to the V4 S which gets 170mm travel in the front and 180mm travel at the rear. Ducati also offers multiple seat and suspension options to accommodate a wide variety of riders, ranging from 805mm to 905mm.
Powering the new Ducato Multistrada V4 Rally is an 1158cc V4 engine that makes 168bhp and 128Nm of torque, mated to a six-speed gearbox. The motorcycle maker has also introduced a new Enduro Riding Mode with a new Off-Road Power Mode that limits the power to 113bhp, while the motorcycle can also deactivate its rear engine banks on the run to make it more fuel efficient.
