KTM India has confirmed that the Enduro R will be launching in India soon. Despite facing global financial challenges, the Austrian bike manufacturer isn’t slowing down in the Indian market. During the launch of the 390 Adventure, the company revealed that the Enduro R would be hitting the market soon. According to reports, the Enduro R could make its debut as early as next month, in March.
KTM 390 Enduro R: What is it?
It’s no exaggeration to say that the upcoming Enduro R is unlike any other motorcycle currently on the market. Much like the 390 Adventure, the Enduro R is built on a split trellis frame, featuring a specially designed die-cast swingarm for enhanced strength and durability. It’s equipped with Metzeler Karoo 5 tyres — 90/90-21 at the front and 140/80-18 at the rear, paired with spoke wheels. The braking system includes a 285 mm front disc and a 240 mm rear disc, both with switchable ABS. The Enduro R boasts 43 mm WP Apex front forks offering 230 mm of wheel travel, with a matching 230 mm travel at the rear, both fully adjustable. Designed for off-road performance, it comes with a tall seat height of 890 mm and a generous ground clearance of 272 mm.
KTM 390 Enduro R: Engine Specifications
Like the Duke 390 and the 390 Adventure, the Enduro R 390 is powered by the same 399 cc single cylinder liquid-cooled engine. It is mated to a 6-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch.
