CFMoto has been in the news over the last year after unveiling many new motorcycles and the new three-cylinder engine the company has developed. The most-talked-about motorcycle from CFMoto is the new 450cc adventure motorcycle that has gone on sale in the global markets. Now, the company is looking to make its way to India, and this is not the first time.
CFMoto launches multiple new motorcycles in India

Innings one did not go well for CFMoto. The company launched multiple 650cc motorcycles when it came to India for the first time a few years ago, while it also launched 300cc motorcycles, a segment that was popular at the time. The larger 650cc lineup included a street naked, an adventure tourer, and a fully-faired sport tourer.
However, with limited sales and service network, combined with an unknown brand lead to the demise of CFMoto in India. The 650cc motorcycles has similar engines to the Kawasaki 650 range, with similar output but a lower price tag, however, it did not work for CFMoto.
CFMoto’s second coming

With new launches, updated motorcycles, and a lot of buzz at big shows like EICMA, CFMoto seems ready. The company’s first launch in India could likely be the 450MT, an adventure-focused motorcycle capable of taking tarmac and some gnarly stuff off-road. Powered by a 450cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine, the motorcycle makes 43bhp with the help of a 6-speed gearbox. The motorcycle features premium components and looks capable enough.
The other motorcycle that has made a lot of noise is the range that is powered by the company’s new 675cc in-line three-cylinder engine. The range consists of a street naked and a supersport, which some Indian media houses have already had a go on it. This hints at being the next offering from CFMoto for India. If the company can get the network right, it can prove to be successful as the middle-weight motorcycle segment is popular in India.
