Brixton landed in India last year with the launch of two 500cc bikes and two 120cc models. These included Crossfire 500X, Crossfire 500XC, Cromwell 1200 and Cromwell 1200X. The Austrian bikemaker is now planning to extend its 500cc range in India with a new adventure touring motorcycle.
Called the Crossfire 500 Storr, this adventure bike was recently caught on camera testing on Indian roads. The motorcycle first broke cover at EICMA 2024 in Milan, Italy in November. The uncamouflaged test mule seen in the latest spy images show a production-ready model indicating an imminent launch in the coming few months, probably later this year.
Brixton Crossfire 500 Storr: Rugged Design
Like a typical adventure tourer, the Crossfire 500 Storr gets a tall stance featuring a tall windscreen upfront, and a circular headlamp. Blacked-out shrouds protruding out of the muscular fuel tank give the bike a very rugged look. The bike is wrapped in Sage Green Matt colour scheme with graphics on the fuel tank and side panels. The exposed frame and chunky luggage rack at the rear integrated with the pillion grab rails gives the bike a very utilitarian feel.

Now internationally, the Crossfire 500 Storr comes with a very unique and interesting visual highlight featuring an underseat exhaust canister. However, in the latest spy pics, the test mule is seen with a more conventional upswept exhaust muffler. In terms of dimensions, it measures 2,171 mm in length, 916 mm in width, and 1,442 mm in height. It offers a seat height of 839 mm while it weighs 209 kg (kerb). The fuel tank has a capacity of 16 litres.
Brixton Crossfire 500 Storr: Expected Mechanical Specs
The Brixton Storr 500 is underpinned by a tubular steel frame, suspended by upside-down front forks and a linked rear monoshock. The bike rolls on 19-inch front and 17-inch wire spoke wheels shod with knobby Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR tyres. Braking is handled by single disc setups at both ends with dual-channel ABS.
Powering the Crossfire 500 Storr is a 486cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled motor paired with a six-speed gearbox, the same unit offered in the rest Brixton 500 range. This powertrain delivers 47 bhp at 8,500rpm and 43 Nm of peak torque at 6,700rpm. We expect Brixton to bring this bike to India sometime around the festive season this year.
