Bajaj recently launched the Pulsar N125, the third 125cc in the lineup. Aggressively priced, it starts from Rs 94,707, the new Pulsar N125 is powered by a new 125cc engine and has bucket loads of features. We decided to pit it against the TVS Raider 125. Bajaj has introduced a new 124.58 cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine with the Pulsar N125 and it produces 11.8 bhp at 8500 rpm and 11 Nm at 6000 rpm. Both the motorcycles are paired to a 5-speed gearbox. The Raider, on the other hand, gets a 124.8 cc air and oil-cooled single-cylinder engine with an output of 11.1 bhp at 7500 rpm and 11.2 Nm at 6000 rpm. 

According to Bajaj, the Pulsar N125 has class-leading power-to-weight ratio of 96hp/tonne while the Raider is 92.5hp/tonne.

The new Pulsar N125 motorcycle is available in two variants: LED Disc BT and LED Disc. The top model, LED Disc BT, features a large LCD digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity for call alerts, message alerts, and fuel economy updates. Standard features include a USB charging port and an Integrated Starter Generator (ISG), a first in the Pulsar lineup. The bike is equipped with a 240 mm front disc brake and a 130 mm drum brake, along with a Combined Braking System for enhanced safety. 

The Raider 125 stands out as the most feature-packed motorcycle in its class. Its top variant, the SX, is equipped with a 5-inch TFT instrument display featuring an auto brightness sensor. With connected technology, the Raider boasts 99 features, including voice assist, navigation system, weather and sports updates, and notifications. It also includes a USB charger and under-seat storage. The top trim offers a split seat, a 240 mm front disc brake, and a 130 mm rear drum brake. The Raider has a ground clearance of 180 mm, while the Pulsar N125 leads the segment with 198 mm.

The TVS Raider 125 is offered in four variants, with the entry-level model priced nearly Rs 10,000 less than the Pulsar N125. In comparison, the Pulsar N125 ranges from Rs 94,707 to Rs 98,707, ex-showroom Delhi.
