Bajaj Auto has initiated the deliveries of the Freedom 125 in Delhi, with the first batch comprising ten motorcycles delivered to customers. Bajaj claims that the Freedom 125 is the world’s inaugural CNG motorcycle. The company initially introduced this CNG motorcycle in Maharashtra and Gujarat in July. Presently, the Freedom 125 is available in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Delhi, Karnataka, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu.
Bajaj Freedom 125 CNG: Engine Specifications
The Freedom 125 features a 124.58 cc engine that delivers 9.3 bhp and 9.7 Nm of torque, coupled with a 5-speed gearbox. It boasts a dual tank with a capacity of 2 kg for CNG and 2 litres for petrol. Bajaj claims the motorcycle achieves a fuel efficiency of 102 km/kg in CNG mode and approximately 65 kmpl in petrol mode. In CNG mode, the Freedom 125 is said to have a range of 200 km and 130 km on petrol, totalling a combined range of 330 km. The top speed is rated at 90.5 kmph in CNG mode and 93.4 kmph in petrol mode.
Bajaj Freedom 125 CNG: Variants and Price
The Freedom 125 comes in three variants: Drum, Drum LED, and Disc LED. The Drum variant is fitted with a 130 mm front and a 110 mm rear drum, paired with 17-inch and 16-inch wheels respectively. The Drum LED variant adds an LED headlight, LED DRLs, a digital instrument console, and a 130 mm rear drum. The premium Disc LED variant includes a USB charging port, a 240 mm front disc, a 130 mm rear drum, and a Combined Brake System (CBS).
