Bajaj Auto has slashed the price of its Freedom 125 NG04, India’s first CNG-powered motorcycle, as it approaches its one-year milestone. This time, the entry-level NG04 Drum variant is available with a flat Rs 5,000 discount.
The Freedom 125 NG04 comes in three variants, the NG04 Drum, NG04 Drum LED, and NG04 Disc LED, and with the latest price drop, the entry-level Freedom 125 NG04 now costs Rs 85,976, ex-showroom, Delhi. Meanwhile, the NG04 Drum LED and NG04 Disc LED continue to cost at Rs 95,981 and Rs 1.11 lakh, respectively.
Interestingly, this isn’t the first time Bajaj Auto has reduced the prices on the Freedom 125. In December 2024, the company rolled out limited-time discounts of Rs 5,000 on the NG04 Drum and Rs 10,000 on the NG04 Drum LED variant.
Bajaj Freedom 125: Engine Specs
The Bajaj Freedom 125 CNG is powered by a 125cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine, producing 9.4 bhp at 8,000 rpm and 9.7 Nm of torque, paired with a 5-speed gearbox. In CNG mode, its 2 kg CNG tank delivers over 200 km of range, while the 2-litre petrol tank offers approximately 130 km, combining for an estimated total range of over 330 km. Bajaj claims that in CNG mode, the motorcycle returns a mileage of 102 km/kg and 65 kmpl in petrol mode.
Bajaj Freedom 125: Hardware
Built on a segment-first trellis frame for enhanced rigidity, it features front telescopic forks and a rear mono-shock suspension. The 17-inch front tyre includes a 240mm disc brake, while the 16-inch rear tyre offers either a drum or 130mm disc brake, depending on the variant. The Freedom 125 CNG has a 1,340mm wheelbase, an 825mm seat height, and 170mm ground clearance.
The entry-level Freedom 125 NG04 Drum comes in two colour options — Pewter Grey and Ebony Black. The other two Freedom 125 NG04 Drum LED and NG04 Disc LED variants are offered in five colour options — Caribbean Bleu, Ebony Black, Racing Red, Cyber White and Pewter Grey.
