Bajaj Chetak Urbane Vs Ola S1 Air Vs Ather 450S: Specs, price comparison

Bajaj recently launched a new entry-level variant of Chetak e-scooter called Urbane. It gets a slightly smaller battery than the Premium variant and hence gets a lower price tag. Let us find out how it compares against its primary rivals like the Ola S1 Air and Ather 450S.

Chetak Urbane Vs S1 Air Vs Ather 450S: Powertrain

Chetak offers a 2.9kWh Lithium-ion battery pack that claims a peak range of 113 km. S1 Air gets a 3kWh battery which claims a peak range of 151 km while the 450S can go as far as 115 km on a single charge courtesy of a 2.9kWh unit. Bajaj is yet to reveal motor specification of Chetak Urbane but it claims to reach a top speed of 63 kmph in its standard form and 73 kmph with the TecPac.

This is very slow in comparison to its competition S1 Air and 450S which claim top speeds of 90 kmph each.

Chetak Urbane Vs S1 Air Vs 450S: Features

Chetak Urbane gets the same digital LCD instrument as the Premium variant as standard. In its standard form, the Urbane trim hardly gets any more features but by opting the TecPac it gets features like hill hold, reverse mode, and full smartphone connectivity package that offers tamper alerts, OTA updates, etc. In comparison, S1 Air and 450S are far better equipped with features like navigation, and USB charging port.

Chetak Urbane Vs S1 Air Vs 450S: Price

Chetak Urbane is priced at Rs 1.15 lakh in its standard form whereas with the TecPac it gets Rs 1.21 lakh. Ola offers S1 Air at Rs 1.20 lakh while Ather 450S comes at a price tag of Rs 1.29 lakh ( all prices ex-showroom).
