Bajaj Avenger 180 Street is expected to launch in the coming few weeks, and the price of the cruiser has also been revealed. According to a Bikewale report, the new Bajaj Avenger 180 Street will be priced at Rs 83,987 (ex-showroom, Bengaluru). The Bajaj Avenger 180 Street will carry the styling from the Bajaj Avenger 150, which happens to be one of Bajaj’s most selling motorcycles. The Avenger 180 Street is, however, likely to come in a different paint scheme that will set it apart from the Avenger 150. Bajaj Avenger 180 Street will share some features and parts with the Avenger 150 so as to keep the price in check. Bajaj is expected to update the Avenger 220 with some cosmetic tweaks.
When the Bajaj Avenger 180 Street is launched, the homegrown brand will discontinue the Avenger 150. Once launched, the Bajaj Avenger 180 Street will compete with the likes of Suzuki Intruder 150. Bajaj stands to offer better value with the Avenger 180 when compared with the Suzuki Intruder 150. In terms of features, the Avenger 180 Street will share the instrument cluster, seat, and exhaust with the Avenger 150
The new Bajaj Avenger 180 Street is expected to be powered by the Pulsar’s 180cc engine, which is an air-cooled, single-cylinder that produces 17 hp and 14.22 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a five-speed transmission, but the gear ratios will be tweaked to better suit a cruiser’s requirements. It will also likely be offered with a single-channel ABS.
