Aprilia launched the RS 457 in India last month at an introductory price of Rs 4.10 lakh (ex-showroom). It also marked Aprilia’s re-entry into the motorcycling space after all bikes were discontinued silent ahead of implementation of BS6 phase 2 norms in April last year.
Latest media reports confirm that Aprilia has started manufacturing the new sports bike at the Baramati-based plant in Maharashtra owned by parent company Piaggio Vehicles Private Limited. Deliveries of the same are expected to commence from 1 March 2024.
