Ampere has added yet another electric scooter to its lineup. Named Magnus Grand, this new electric soccer aims to set new standards in style, comfort, durability, and safety. Priced at Rs 89,999 (ex-showroom), the Magnus Grand is positioned on top of the Magnus Neo in Ampere’s electric scooter lineup, priced Rs 5,000 more than the latter.
Speaking on the launch Vikas Singh, Managing Director of Greaves Electric Mobility, said, “The Magnus Grand represents a significant leap forward for Greaves by aiming to redefine urban mobility by combining technology with user-centric design; it highlights Ampere’s focus on real-world performance, safety, and design.”
Ampere Magnus Grand: What’s new?
The design of the Magnus Grand is almost identical to the rest of the Magnus range of e-scooters barring the two new colour options— Matcha Green and Ocean Blue – along with gold-finish badging. Ampere says that the focus has been laid on ergonomics and passenger comfort. As a result, the grab rail has been strengthened for added safety.

The seat has been revised to offer more space and comfort with a higher payload capacity. The seat also wears a new brown-coloured quilted cover. In terms of features, the Ampere Magnus Grand gets a new digital instrument console that aims to improve visibility. The rest of the scooter remains unchanged.
Ampere Magnus Grand: What’s unchanged?
The Ampere Magnus Grand is equipped with a 2.3 kWh Lithium Ferrous Phosphate (LFP) battery that offers a claimed real-world range of 85–90 km. It produces a peak power output of 2.4 kW, enabling a top speed of 65 km/h. The vehicle rides on 12-inch steel wheels with drum brakes at both ends and features a telescopic front fork along with dual rear shock absorbers for improved ride comfort.
Practicality is enhanced with 22 litres of underseat storage, a ground clearance of 165 mm, and a kerb weight of 108 kg. The scooter also delivers a gradeability of 10 degrees under full load, including the rider. Notably, these specifications remain identical to those of its sibling, the Magnus Neo. Other notable features offered in the Magnus Grand include LED headlight and LED indicators, two ride modes: Eco and City, a reverse mode, and a USB charging port.
