It’s been 8 years since Royal Enfield aggressively created an affordable 650 cc segment in India and in the global market with the Interceptor 650 and the Continental GT 650. The iconic two-wheeler motorcycle has decided to up the ante by entering the 750 cc class, and recently the Continental GT-R 750 was caught testing in India. The Interceptor will also get the updated 750 cc engine. Here are all the latest details that you need to know about the upcoming Continental GT-R 750.

Royal Enfield Continental GT-R 750: Design

According to reports, Royal Enfield is expected to make its debut in the 750 cc segment with the Royal Enfield Continental GT-R. The spy images from Rushlane showcase that the motorcycle gets a full-fairing design with a brand-new cowl. The fairing starts from the headlight and goes all the way to the tank. It is going to be the sportiest-looking and the most powerful Continental GT ever manufactured by Royal Enfield. Being a café racer, it has an aggressive riding stance with swept-back foot pegs. Coming to the rear, it gets circular retro indicators with a chrome finish. The seat was not visible, as the rider had taped a testing instrument on the pillion side.

Royal Enfield Continental GT-R 750: Hardware

Based on a new platform, the new 750 cc motorcycles come equipped with twin front disc brakes, a first for a Royal Enfield motorcycle. The rear gets a single brake and gets the signature chrome finish twin exhausts, similar to the Continental GT 650. As the motorcycle was heavily clad, we didn’t get a clear view, but the new motorcycle is expected to come with upside-down front forks and rear coil suspension. It also gets all-black alloy wheels with tubeless tyres along with clip-on handlebars.

Royal Enfield Continental GT-R 750: Engine

The 750 cc engine is based on the blueprint of the 650 cc and is expected to be bored out, which will further enhance the motorcycle’s performance. The current 650 parallel-twin engine churns out 46.3 bhp and 52.3 Nm of torque. The new Royal Enfield 750 cc could be shown at the EICMA two-wheeler event in Milan in November this year and be launched in India in the first half of 2026.
