2026 Ducati Multistrada, Diavel V4 RS unveiled

Ducati has unveiled powerful variants of two of its existing models, the Multistrada and Diavel — The Multistrada V4 RS and the Diavel V4 RS. The two motorcycles are essentially sportbikes in the guise of an adventure tourer and a power cruiser, and are expected in India soon. So here’s a closer look at the 2026 Ducati Multistrada V4 RS and the Diavel V4 RS.

2026 Ducati Multistrada V4 RS

The 2026 Ducati Multistrada V4 RS gets the company’s latest electronic tech, which includes the Ducati Vehicle Observer (DVO), which uses predictive algorithms to adjust the intervention of safety features, giving the rider better control over the bike. The motorcycle gets five ride modes – Race, Sport, Touring, Urban, and Wet – and four suspension presets – Track, Dynamic, Touring, and Low Grip.

Ducati has worked on shedding weight from the motorcycle, and the company has used a titanium rear subframe, which has the ability to carry a top case. There is extensive use of carbon fibre as well for parts like the lever guards, front fender, and the exhaust heat shield.

2026 Ducati Diavel V4 RS

Just like the 2026 Ducati Multistrada V4 RS, the Ducati Diavel V4 RS has been through a weight reduction program. This is assisted with a host of top-spec electronic aids such as cornering ABS, traction control, wheelie control, and various riding modes. It also gets launch control for optimum performance delivery.

Powering the two motorcycles is a V4 engine. In the new Multistrada V4 RS, the engine makes a massive 178 bhp and 118 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox with a bidirectional quickshifter, and the motorcycle gets an Akrapovič exhaust system.

In the Diavel V4 RS, the engine makes 180 bhp, while a six-speed gearbox delivers power to the rear wheel. The gearbox has been tweaked to offer quicker acceleration, while it comes standard with a bidirectional quickshifter. And just like the Multistrada V4 RS, the Diavel V4 RS gets a dry clutch, and the result of all this is a 0 to 100 kmph acceleration time of 2.5 seconds. Both motorcycles are set to go on sale in Europe later this year, followed by India.
