Vespa has launched the new 125cc portfolio for India, which is available in four variants. The luxury scooter’s price range starts from the Vespa trim at Rs 1,32,500 and goes up to the Vespa S Tech at Rs 1.96 lakh, ex-showroom. The new 2025 lineup will be available in dealerships starting February 25.
Vespa 125: Features and Variants
Vespa has offered some updates for the engine and some design tweaks. Currently, the company has only launched the 125 cc lineup and will later showcase the 150 cc range. The entry-level Vespa will offer seven colour options — Verde Amabile, Rosso Red, Pearl White, Nero Black, Azzurro Provenza, Blue and Pearl White and Orange and Pearl White.Â
The Vespa S is the next variant, which is priced at Rs 1.36 lakh. It offers eight different colours — Verde Ambizioso (Matte), Oro, Pearl White, Nero Black (Matte), Giallo Yellow (Matte), Arancio Impulsivo, Red and Pearl White and Black and Pearl White.
Vespa has launched the Tech line which has two trims —Tech and S Tech priced at Rs 1.92 lakh and Rs 1.96 lakh respectively. The Tech range is equipped with features like keyless ignition, a 5-inch TFT digital dashboard, Bluetooth and navigation, and all LED lights. The Tech is available in three colour options — Special Edition – Qala, Energico Blue and Grigio Grey while the S Tech gets Nero Black (Matte) and Pearl White paint schemes.
Vespa 125: Engine Specifications
The new Vespa range is powered by a 125cc single-cylinder powertrain with an output of 9.38 bhp at 7100rpm and 10.1Nm at 5600rpm. In terms of dimensions, the length is 1170 mm, the width is 690 mm, the wheelbase is 1290 mm and the seat height of 770 mm.
