Last week, TVS launched the updated Apache RTR 310 in India, priced at Rs 2.39 lakh, ex-showroom. The motorcycle looks identical to the previous version, but there are subtle changes and updates to it. So let’s take a look at the top 5 updates the new TVS Apache RTR 310 gets for 2025.
Before we dive into the changes, let’s get the engine specifications out of the way. The 2025 TVS Apache RTR 310 is powered by the same engine as before, a 312cc, liquid-cooled single-cylinder unit that makes 35bhp and 29Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox that comes with an optional quickshifter.
Top 5 updates on the 2025 RTR 310
Design

The overall design stays the same, with a twin headlight setup, muscular tank, and a raked tail section. However, there are new colour options. The 2025 TVS RTR 310 can be had in four colours, and three of them are new: Fiery Red, Arsenal Black, and Sepang Blue.
Cosmetics

Updates in the cosmetic section are a few, and the first is the lever guards, which are now standard on the motorcycle. The next big visual update in the clutch case is a transparent cover like the RR 310. The transparent clutch case cover has no mechanical function as such, but it’s just something cool to look at.
Engine and mechanicals

On the mechanical front, the 2025 RTR 310 retains all the mechanical goodies such as the suspension setup, tyres, and brakes, while the engine is also the same; however, the engine map has seen a change, making the acceleration more linear. The quickshifter also remains with the updated RTR 310 as an option, and as standard equipment with the higher variants.
Features

In terms of features, one big update are the blinkers, as they are now sequential units and give the RTR 310 a premium look. This feature is available with the top variants of the RTR 310, while the BTO variants get more equipment in terms of adjustable forks and other add-ons such as keyless start.
Electronics

Electronic aids on the new RTR 310 have always been a lengthy list, which includes cornering ABS, cornering traction control, cornering cruise control, and more. However, for 2025, TVS has given the updated Apache RTR 310 launch control, which allows good starts off the line on a race track, but not advisable for the road.
