2025 TVS Apache RTR 200 4V launched : Here’s what’s new

TVS is celebrating two decades of its Apache line of sporty motorcycles. To commemorate this occasion, the Hosur-based bikemaker has launched an updated iteration of Apache RTR 200 4V in the market. Priced at Rs 1,53,990 (ex-showroom Delhi), the latest iteration of the naked roadster gets some key upgrades over the outgoing model.

2025 TVS Apache RTR 200 4V: What’s new?

Although the design of the Apache RTR 200 4V remains intact, TVS has made some cosmetic improvements to give a refreshing look. The latest iteration of the street naked bike gets new red alloy wheels and refreshed graphics. The motorcycle is now available with three colour options – Glossy Black, Matte Black, and Granite Grey.

Besides aesthetics, the 2025 Apache RTR 200 4V also gets some functional improvements over the previous version. The biggest update is the addition of 37mm upside-down front forks for superior control and sharper cornering capability. Further, it also gets a new hydroformed handlebar that ensures better handling and stability in all riding conditions.

The rest of the motorcycle remains largely unchanged. The TVS Apache RTR 200 4V continues to draw power from a 197.75cc, oil-cooled single-cylinder engine that delivers 20.5 bhp at 9,000 rpm and a peak torque of 17.25 Nm at 7,250 rpm. This motor is paired with a 5-speed gearbox via a slipper clutch. This engine is now compliant with OBD2B emission norms.

In terms of features, the RTR 200 4V comes equipped with LED headlamps and DRLs, a digital instrument cluster that comes embedded with TVS SmartXonnect application, Bluetooth connectivity, and Voice-Assistance. In addition, the 200cc Apache comes equipped with dual-channel ABS, three ride modes (Urban, Sport, and Rain), and adjustable clutch.
