Triumph is on an updating spree, and after launching the updated Trident 660, the British marque has launched its updated street naked flagship, the Speed Triple 1200 RS. Priced at Rs 20.39 lakh ex-showroom, the motorcycle is pricier by Rs 2.44 lakh compared to the previous model, but also features some mechanical updates to justify the price hike.
2025 Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RS — What are the updates?
In terms of how the motorcycle looks, the 2025 Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RS sees no difference, and it carries forward the sharp design with the twin headlight setup and the side-mounted exhaust. The design saw an update when the new motorcycle was launched, and for 2025, there are no changes here.
However, under the skin is what’s interesting with the new bike — the 2025 Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RS gets a new Öhlins EC 3.0 electronically adjustable suspension for the rear, while the front continues to be a USD. The update in suspension should offer a better ride.

The motorcycle continues to ride on 17-inch wheels at both ends, with the front sporting a 120/70-ZR17 and the rear getting a 190/55-ZR17 Pirelli Supercorsa V3 tyres. The wheels are lighter than before, and the motorcycle gets a standard steering damper, and the electronics have been updated.
Powering the motorcycle is the same 1,160cc, inline three-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that makes 183bhp and 128Nm — an increase of 3bhp and 3Nm over the older model. Triumph has achieved this with a new free-flowing exhaust setup. The engine continues to be paired to a six-speed gearbox.
