Bajaj, having launched the Triumph 400 twins in India, has already given one of the motorcycles an update and launched a sub-variant of the Speed 400 called the Speed T4. Now, the Pune-based two-wheeler maker is gearing up to launch the facelifted version of the Scrambler 400X, and possibly a sub-variant, probably the Scrambler T4?
2025 Triumph Scrambler 400X — What to expect?
The 2025 Triumph Scrambler 400X, according to sources, will follow a similar approach as the Speed 400. Mechanically, the motorcycle will be identical to the current version, but will get updated graphics to give it a fresh look. The motorcycle will retain its cycling parts as well.
That said, there is a chance for Bajaj and Triumph to launch a lower-spec version of the Scrambler 400X, probably called the Scrambler T4, to cater to a wider customer base. There is no confirmation of this, but it will make sense since the KTM 250 Adventure has a market in India.
Power will be derived from the same 399cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that makes 40bhp and 38Nm of torque, mated to a six-speed gearbox. The lower-spec T4 model will also get the same engine but detuned to make 30bhp and Bajaj could opt for traditional telescopic forks as well, similar to the Speed T4.
