2025 Suzuki Hayabusa launched in India: Here’s what’s new

In its fourth generation avatar, Suzuki Hayabusa is now BS6 phase 2 compliant.

After making its global debut a couple of days ago, the updated Suzuki Haybusa has now been launched in India. Priced at Rs 16.90 lakh (ex-showroom), gets new colour schemes and updated electronics. The Busa is available for booking across all Suzuki Bike Zones in India. The sports tourer comes to the country as a fully-imported CBU model.

2025 Suzuki Hayabusa: Updated colours & features 

For starters, the updated Hayabusa is available in three dual-tone color combinations namely Metallic Mat Steel Green with Glass Sparkle Black, Glass Sparkle Black with Metallic Mat Titanium Silver and Metallic Mystic Silver with Pearl Vigor Blue. Besides new colour schemes, the Busa also gets an updated set of electronics.

These include electronics such as power mode selector, launch control system, di-directional quick shift system, cruise control, and motion track traction control (TC). It is worth mentioning that the Indian version of the bike misses out on a few electronic changes made in the international version. In terms of conveniences, the 2025 Hayabusa comes with Suzuki Easy Start System, Low RPM Assist, LED lighting, TFT instrument console, and various control systems for braking, stability, and traction.

2025 Suzuki Hayabusa: Powertrain & Hardware 

The Hayabusa continues to draw its power from the same  1,340cc, inline-4, liquid-cooled engine that produces 188 bhp and 150 Nm of peak torque. This motor is now OBD2B compliant and mated to a 6-speed gearbox with a bi-directional quickshifter as standard. The Hayabusa is capable of accelerating from 0-100 kmph in less than three seconds, while the top-speed is limited to 299 kmph.

The updated Busa is equipped with dual Suzuki Ram Air Direct (SRAD) ducts that enhance performance progressively with increasing road speed.  Additionally, the Twin Swirl Combustion Chamber (TSCC) ensures quicker and more efficient combustion of the fuel-air mixture. When it comes to hardware, the twin-spar aluminum frame of the Haybusa sits on KYB inverted front forks and dual shock absorbers.

Braking duties are carried out by twin front disc and single rear disc brakes with Brembo Stylemma and Nissin callipers, respectively. The bike rolls on 17-inch alloy wheels shod with BATTLAX HYPERSPORTS 22 tyres.
