After a five-year hiatus, KTM is making a comeback at EICMA, the international two-wheeler exhibition in Milan. The Austrian manufacturer is set to make a splash by unveiling a lineup of motorcycles, including the much-anticipated 390 Adventure, which will be marketed in India as the next-generation 390 Adventure R. The debut of this KTM motorcycle is slated for November 5th or 6th, and here’s everything we know so far.
2025 KTM 390 Adventure: Powerful new engine
The next generation 390 Adventure will be based on the new 390 architecture like the all-new 390 Duke. The first major upgrade is the new 399 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled powertrain with an output of 45.3 bhp and 39 Nm of torque. The current 373.27 cc produces 43 bhp at 9,000 rpm and 37 Nm at 7,000 rpm. The 2025 version gets a power increase of 2.3 bhp and 2 Nm. The 6-speed gearbox will come with a slipper clutch. Â
2025 KTM 390 Adventure: Features
The new 390 Adventure will sport the 5-inch TFT colour unit with customizable features like reducing the size of the speed dials. It gets a 4-way menu switch. It is equipped with traction control, Off-Road mode which allows the rear to drift, Ride-by-wire, dual-channel ABS, Cornering ABS and multiple riding modes.
In terms of mechanical upgrades, the new 390 Adventure is expected to have adjustable USD front forks, adjustable mono-shock and a new exhaust tucked underneath the body. The 390 Adventure is expected to be available in two trims — alloy wheels or spoke wire. KTM has done away with the split seat design to a single piece.
